Pranayama -Pranayama vidhi
Achman and Pranayama - Before pooja, the characters should be placed three times in an orderly position facing the east direction and sitting on the pedestal three times –
om keshavaay namah. om naaraayanaay namah. om maadhavaay namah .
After Achaman, wash the hands by wiping the lips by saying
'Om Hrishikeshaya Namah ‚ Om Govindaya Namah'
from the root of the thumb of the right hand. After that, wear the holy mantra from the following mantra –
pavitre stho vaishnavyau saviturvah prasav utpunaamyachchhidren pavitren sooryasy rashmibhih .
tasy te pavitrpate pavitraputasy yatkaamaah punyan tachchhakeyam.
Perform pranayam after wearing the holy.
1.Appropriation of Pranayama - Before doing Pranayam, read his appropriation in this way –
Om kaarasy brahma rshiraadaivee gaayatree chhandah agnih paramaatma devata shukalo varnah sarvakarmarmbhe viniyogah.
Om saptavyaahrateenaan vishvaamitrajamadagni bharadvaajagautamaatri vasishthakashyapa rshayo gaayatryushniganushtubbrhatee panktitrishtubjagatyashchhandaansyagnivaayvaaditya brhaspativarunendravishnavo devata anaadishtapraayashchitte praanaayaame viniyogah . Om tatsavituriti vishvaamitr rshi gaayatree chhandahsavita devata praanaayaame viniyogah.Om aapo jyotiriti shirasah prajaapatirshiryajushchhando brahmaagni vaayu soorya devataah praanaayaame viniyogah.
2. Mantras of Pranayama - Then close the eyes and recite the below mentioned Mantras three times in each Pranayama (or start from the first once, gradually increase the practice of three to three times).
om bhooh om bhuvah om svah om mahah om janah om tapah om satyam .
om tatsaviturvarenyam bhargo devasy dheemahi . dhiyo yo nah prachodayaat . om aapo jyotee rasoamritam brahma bhoorbhuvah svarom .
Method of Pranayama -
Pranayama has three distinctions -1. Supplement, 2. Kumbhak, 3. Laxative.
1- Pressing the right nostril from the thumb, pulling the breath slowly from the left orifice is called 'complementary pranayama'. While doing the supplementary pranayama, while chanting the above mentioned mantras in mind, meditate on the Nilavarna quadrilateral god Vishnu like the team of Nilkamal in Nabidesh.
2. When the breathing stops, the ring finger and junior finger also press the left pore of the nose. Keep chanting. This Kumbhak Pranayama happened. On this occasion, meditate on Lord Brahma, the Chaturmukh with red color, sitting on a lotus in the heart.
3 - The removal of the thumb from the right hole to release the breath slowly is called laxative pranayama. At this time one should meditate on Lord Shiva in the forehead. Keep chanting mantra from the heart.
Achaman after Pranayama - (Appropriation and Mantra of the morning) Leave water on the earth by reading the appropriation written in the morning-
sooryashch meti naaraayan rshih anushtupachhandah sooryo devata apaamupasparshane viniyogah .
After that read the Mantra written below.
om sooryashch maa manyushch manyupatyashch manyukritebhyah paapebhyo rakshantaam. yadraatrya paapamakaarsham manasaa vaachaa hastaabhyaam padbhyaamoodaren sheeshnaa raatreestadavaloompatoo. yatkeenja dureetam mayi idamahamaapoamritayonau surye jyotishi joohomi svaaha.
After this, with water in the left hand, it should be sprinkled on the right hand and on the worship material –
om apavitrah pavitro va sarvavasthaan gato .pi va. yah smaret pundareekaakshan sa musyaabhyantarah shuchih pu om pundareekaakshah punnatu. om pundareekaakshah punnatu. om pundareekaakshah punnatu.
Accordingly, if there is no idol of Ganesh-Ambika by making an Ashtadal-Kamal in the vessel, then after wrapping the molly in the betel nut and setting it on the Akshat, one should read the Swasthayan with the Akshata and flowers in hand.
